After breakfast, you'll board the boat to Ngamba Island for a day trip.
Ngamba Island is located 23 Km offshore from Entebbe. In 1998 it became Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary under the Jane Goodall Foundation with the objective of providing safe haven to orphaned chimpanzees that had been rescued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority from poachers or traders, and with no chance of
survival if let back into the wild.
The day trip allows you to see the island and to view the feeding habits of the chimps. However, if you wish to take the care giver chimpanzee experience or the integration experience, you will need to spend the night in the eco-lodge. This is offered with an optional supplement.
In the afternoon, we head to Kampala, for dinner and overnight at your preferred lodging.
