Hotel club du lac Tanganyika The Hotel is located just 5 minutes from downtown Bujumbura and from the Bujumbura International Airport. It offers green and sunny surroundings alongside Lake Tanganyika, where you can choose between a walk in its park grounds or a rest on the white sandy beaches, or admire colourful sunsets. Bujumbura is the capital town of Burundi and is located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.A tour to Burundi would not be complete without exploring this city.It is the main port and ships most of the country's chief export, a colonial town with a large market, the national stadium, a large mosque, and the cathedral for the Archdiocese.Take your Bujumbura tour: It has many attractions like “belvedere” on the top of the hill, a dominating point of the town offering a unique view onto Lake Tanganyika. It is a good place where you can find the old masks of Congo tribes.
   Program:
Day 1 – Entebbe Bujumbura
Depart from Entebbe with morning flight Rwanda Express to Bujumbura via Kigali. The shuttle will take you to the hotel.
You will be surprised to find such a beautiful beach on the Lake Tanganyika just near the town. You can enter the green and transparent water of the lake which seems like a tropical sea. You can have your dinner at the restaurant or at the pizzeria from the pool side. Overnight at Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika. HB

Day 2 & 3 – Lake Tanganyika
After breakfast, relax on the beach or at the swimming pool. The Hotel has the following facilities: wireless internet connections, bar and restaurant 24hr service, playground for chilldren, 2 pools, 2 tennis courts, Sauna, gym and massage, nightclub, shuttle services. In the evening you can enjoy special buffet dinner and music entertainment from Burundian artists.   

We can suggest some optional activities which you can take: visit Rusizi river Natural reserve to see water birds, hippos and the fishermen village, a few kilometers from the hotel; go for fishing in the lake to fish Mukeke, ndagala, sangala and other typical fish; go for your Bujumbura tour and discover this unique city of Burundi.
You can choose between re-drying fish and all fishing; go for half day excursions to see the traditional holy drums of Burundi of Gishora, the Bugarama Batwa village to discover their traditions and arts or visit Kigwena  forest Reserve alongside lake Tanganyika a couple of hours from Bujumbura.

Day 4 – Lake Tanganyika
